Desa Park City Training – 9 January 2013

Route: 3 laps around Desa Park City
Distance: 2.2km * 3 = 6.6km (Garmin: 6.38km)
Timing: 38:53 for 6:05 min/km pace

Paced run for a group of new runners where we started off around the 6:30 – 7:00 min/km pace, reducing it by 30 sec for the next 2 laps. Great job for finishing ladies!

Have been struggling with motivation to both run and work (first week of a 5-day work week!) this week. Not sure if it’s because the load has been heavier or the lack of shuteye (read: yawning loads at 10 am and 3 pm every SINGLE day). Plus the “broken” blood blisters (1 each on each foot) ain’t helping – my VFF (big toe) was soaked with blood after Tuesday’s run. Did the next best thing – skipped this morning’s run.

Thursday’s Mantra: 3Rs - Rest, Re-hydrate, Re-fuel.
