Reality Check

As shocking and as jarring as it was, I had to get up early this morning since the oh-one-so-glorious-day-off was over. I’m sure you can relate to that. Time sure flies when you’re having fun!

Before we get into the details, a huge shout out to The Boy who came in 10th in the Jungle Marathon over the weekend. That’s right…the race billed as the “toughest race” by CNN covering 254km in Brazil. Now tell me you don’t love this?!?!?!

And over in this part of the world, I was nursing sore abs while covering 9km around Sungei Besi yesterday morning after the earlier downpour – don’t ya just love running after a rain/shower?

This morning’s reality check: Legs Workout (yes, we’re resuming heavy duty workout after a 2-3 week lay off – has it been that long?!?!?!)

Single set of:
a) Cybex plate weight loaded leg squat press (dropsets)

Supersets of:
b) Smith machine squats (to find out at the end that we started with 35lbs instead of the usual; dropsets)
c) DB raised static lunges (OMG, the inner quads near the groin was worked to the max!)

Supersets of:
d) Cybex prone leg curl
e) Nautilus Nitro Plus Hip Adduction

Supersets of:
f) Technogym leg extension (dropsets – FML!)
g) Nautilus Nitro Plus Hip Abduction

Single set of:
h) Cybex Eagle Abdominal
