Five Things Friday

1. Blogging is pushed to down the list of priorities as I attempt “work-life balance” (read as: work is your life, the rest is up to you to manage).

2. Another half day of work in the office as I “jettison” to the central bank later this afternoon for a “unless it’s a life or death situation; compulsory attendance” talk. Second {and last} consecutive day. Good thing it finished early (by my standards anyway). Bad thing is braving the traffic home.

3. My temporary toy has been serving me well…that’s if I get to go out for a run.

a) Smith machine bench chest press (dropsets) (felt sorry for the guy who got bumped off and then had to see Michael load up the plates after that; sorry dude! Then again, he could be feeling sorry for me coz there was no way in heck I could have managed it without a spotter. Equal play!)
b) Diamond push-ups (toughest of the lot; consolation – not having to do it on the medicine ball)

d) DB pullovers (and again, had to bump someone off the bench – well, he was just sitting there yakking. No actually, his friend kindly told him to get off the bench so we could use it)

f) DB combo chest fly and chest press (when you insert the word “combo”, Sue wins the Klutz of the Year award)

Single set of:
g) Abs crunches on Bosu with legs balanced on medicine ball (no, declined the offer of a fourth set)
