Distance: 5km + 5*250m hill repeats
In detox mode after last evening’s therapy. My entire body feels sore and fatigued, especially the shoulders and back. Definitely calls for an easy day before we ramp up the training tomorrow (I’m dreading Michael’s menu as I type this!).
Legs were heavy, ankle was wonky, I was alone when I set out in the park. I knew it was going to be a long miserable morning but I needed to this done and over with! To make meself feel better, did some hill repeats – I swear it was a sideshow for the uncles and aunties who were sitting at the bench at the TOP of the hill while waiting for their tai chi or line dancing instructor.
