Taman Seputeh Hill Training – 2 July 2013

Route: Le Chateau - Taman Desa Seputeh
Distance: 5.52km (Garmin)
Timing: 30:44 for 5:34 min/km pace

Short slow run this morning to shake out the legs after the weekend’s back-to-back and more so, yesterday’s heavy duty. More importantly, it was CRUCIAL for me to get back indoors as quickly as possible (alluding to the short distance here) due to the potential of being hauled up by the fashion police! It was and still is embarrassing to say this: blue Adidas running vest + bright purple Reebok shorts; I looked like a clown out there! Of course the solution is pretty simple: do your laundry!

Home to train station (2.929kmkm; 17:03)
The only way to keep to a 10min/mile pace (hey Ryan Hall and the Mammoth Track Club do this on their recovery run days!) was to trail Kenny. Mission accomplished!

Train station to home (2.593km; 13:39)
Somehow lost Kenny on the downhill to the train station but kept the pace easy. It was really a beautiful and cool morning to be out there – did anyone else run as well?

Bento Box Lunch

Leftovers from dinner – fried rice
