Back-to-Back Hill Trainings

Wednesday’s {Second Leg} Workout

Route: Desa Park City
Distance: 8.31km (Garmin)
Timing: 53:01 for 6:22 min/km pace

Lovely easy paced run with Renee where we chatted the entire time. She lead me through a new route taking in the killer hill top at DPC (ya know, the one with the water tank at the top of the hill…the nearly 1.5-5km hill) and the outer ring of the road outside of the DPC perimeter. Love. Love. Love. Weather was great. Route was great. Pace was great. Company was the best!

Thursday’s Taman Seputeh Hill Training

Route: Le Chateau - Taman Desa Seputeh
Distance: 8.18km (Garmin)
Timing: 46:44 for 5:42 min/km pace

Easy paced run the previous night does not mean it doesn’t take a toll on your legs! Well, this was more the culprit.

Km1-3: follow the rabbit

Km4: climb to Taman Desa Seputeh

Km5: climb to Mutiara Seputeh

Km6: climb to Jalan Taman Seputeh

Are you guys seeing the theme here?!?!?!

Km7: thank goodness I could roll down the road…literally. Coz. I. Was. This. close. II. To. Tripping. Over. The. DBKL-no-clue-digging-what. Road. (forgive the language, you get the idea)

Km8: climb to La Chateau

Thursday’s Mantra: 3Rs - Rest, Re-hydrate, Re-fuel.
