Five Things Friday

1. It has been a trying week over here and Friday couldn’t have come sooner! This past week, SW had a home emergency which resulted in a trip into town and a very late dinner on Wednesday (still not solved yet but we hope to get things under control this weekend) and a death in Michael’s family. Hence no workouts mid week which worked out alright. Keeping in mind this: Everything that Happens, Happens for a Purpose. God’s Promise to us.

2. In daffodil BRIGHT yellow shirt today. Nope, no trouble picking it this morning.

3. Looks like the tea lady is away today. Tragedy of the highest proportion: making our own coffee, tea and Milo. Nah, I’m not so incapacitated but she just makes the most awesome coffee with just Nescafe. Looks like this will be the order of the day. Unless someone wants to buy me a cuppa this afternoon [hint].

4. Bento Box Lunch: Will be making a sarnie (with soy and pumpkin floss filling) with this I picked up from the neighbourhood bakery last night.

5. Chest & Pecs today

Supersets and dropsets of:
a) Smith machine bench chest press (need to break the 70lbs/140lbs threshold)
b) Wide push-ups

Supersets and dropsets of:
c) Smith machine incline chest press
d) DB chest fly-press (so not do-able without increasing the exponential potential of it smashing onto my face…or chest)

Single sets of:
e) Decline chest press (yeah, it has been some time)
f) Technogym cable standing chest fly (…to find out at the end of the session that Michael had upped the stack)

Supersets of:
g) Roller abs
h) Leg raises (again!)
