Resistance Training

Thought about doing a WIAW (see here) or Wordless Wednesday but my mouth was 5 steps ahead of my hands; so another boring post for the day. Then again, I might just do a half-baked photo log later tonight…if I remember and if my hands move (like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times) faster than my mouth.

Lots of resistance and body weight training this morning. By the way, have I ever mentioned that I’m so thankful (at least this morning) that the gym cordons off an area for personal training? Not that it’s anything fancy but it provided a {modest sort of} cover for my absolute dorkiness in “executing” some of the following workouts. And I’m also doing away with highlighting (yeah, I know you guys are bored with seeing it too; I hear you) having to do 4 or 5 sets since 4 and 5 appears to be the de rigueur in 2012.

Supersets of:
a) LF cable lat pull-down (medium to wide grip)
b) Precor T-bar row (since this was slotted in early on, we did a new-to-me heavier weight)

Supersets of:
c) Seated Technogym cable criss cross lat pull-down
d) TRX reverse pull-ups

Single set of:
e) Seated Technogym criss cross combo of rear delt and row

Supersets of:
f) Single arm Kettlebell back row
g) Single arm Technogym cable back press-down

Single set of:
h) BB bicep curl

Supersets of:
i) Standing DB hammer curl
j) Leg raises
