The planned recovery run aka a 6 min/km pace did not take place despite the mind telling the legs to slow down and the shin splints. I really need to run with SW, KK or Adam if I want to put in a recovery run.
The shins or rather the right one is extremely angry and the blood blister from Sunday has now morphed to twice its size. Thank goodness, we’re working on legs on Friday instead of tomorrow. Will also try to post Sunday’s race recap later tonight.
