Wowzers, it’s mid week already! This came up rather fast! Perhaps I was a tad busy with work (what else!) to notice that Wednesday has snuck up on me.
I was wrong! Today’s session with Michael was a killer and for the first time, I was actually whimpering on the squat press. I kid you not!
4 Supersets of:
a) Smith machine squats
b) Cybex plate loaded squat press (400lbs! crappers!)
c) DB single leg raised lunges (it’s difficult to balance when your HR is shooting for the stars! Don’t ask me but every time I finish the squat press, I felt like I ran 1-2km)
d) Technogym leg extension
e) Nautilus prone leg curl
f) Nautilus hip adductor and hip abductor
Single set of:
g) Reverse abs crunches
Ronnie posted on FB about being sick but is determined to put in a recovery run. My suggestion – can do…but the pace needs to be at 6 min/km since I doubt I can even shuffle this evening. I even had trouble with the stairs in the office. Of course, I’m being presumptuous given the deal we’re running – I can’t believe we’re still working so much when the deal is closing on Friday. I’ve been missing our group runs for the past few weeks because of it and am bummed. Can we all keep our fingers (or let’s throw in the toes as well) crossed here? Please. Pretty please.
