I’m still bemused over yesterday’s bruhahaha which more rightly should be confined to the ages of 3-10 in kindergarten and primary school playgrounds. Apart from this blip, the rest of the weekend went well – met up with friends at yesterday’s run and topped this up with a session with Chayy. She’ll be heading home (Phnom Penh) later in the week for a holiday but assured me that she’ll be back in 2 weeks – the timing works out perfectly since I’ll be tied up for the next 2 weekends. Yes, you read my mind – am planning weekly or bi-monthly sessions.
Anyway, here’s a roundup of this morning’s chest workout and some pictures from the run. Recap of that coming up towards the end of the week if work doesn’t get in the way.
It was a super duper heavy duty this morning and it was good getting back to single muscle strength training. Yeah, these words will come to haunt me in time to come…especially on legs’ day.
4 Single sets of:
a) Bench chest press
b) LF cable chest fly
Single sets of:
c) DB incline chest press (some progress here since I’ve managed to keep the shoulders in place)
d) BB decline chest press (total fail with fatigue setting in – definitely need more practice or rather strength)
e) DB pull-over
f) Decline push-ups
Single set of:
g) Reverse abs crunches
