Warm up
Longest warm up ever – 2.3km or 1 lap in 24:xx minutes. I arrived late and started walking hoping to bump into one of the guys but no such luck. Boss and Melvin ran past me at the 700m mark but since I’m not suicidal, I wasn’t going to jump into the run with them. Bumped into Kei Ming at the waterfall and we walked back to the start line, all the while chit chatting.
Laps 1 - 2
Nothing spectacular – I wasn’t fast and neither did I drag my feet. The only thing that stood out was the darkness and humidity.
I’m hoping the workload lightens up and my ankle heals (completely!) so I can start joining the guys for the group runs. I took this morning off after the past consecutive days of double workouts; yeah puny excuse. I’m trying to rebuild my endurance, stamina whatever since the ankle injury and it’s a long and slow journey. I’m hoping to incorporate more doubles as we head into November and December because I know how good and effective they’ve been.
Workout this morning:
a) 60 min Cybex Arc Trainer elliptical cross trainer at an easy pace
b) Sun salutations A
