By golly, Michael made me do pull-ups this morning – snuck it in between the hack squat and overhead shoulder press. Oh well, it is good for me, right? Right? Right???
Workout this morning:
a) Sun salutations A and B
b) 20 min Precor elliptical cross trainer at an easy pace as a precursor to the weight training
Supersets of:
a) Cybex hack squat (yup, we moved into the 600lbs range)
b) Combo of DB raised single leg static lunges and overhead shoulder press
c) Free standing pull-ups (Michael “casually” asked how my back was holding up and I thought he was being concerned about my recovery. Fail – fell into the trap!)
Supersets of:
d) Cybex plate loaded squat press (the quads were on fire after the first superset and we couldn’t load up)
e) Combo of BB deadlift and overhead shoulder press with the last and additional 6-8 reps of just shoulder press
Supersets of:
f) DB lateral raise
g) Hoist leg extension
Supersets of:
h) Ab crunches on fit ball
i) TRX training atomic
