Monday's kick start to the week

It was an exhausting weekend – mentally – with Grandpa’s birthday dinner on Saturday and the throes of family gathering before and after the event. I was glad when Monday morning rolled in because it meant I could escape into focusing solely on my training session.

Supersets of:

a) LF assisted chin-ups

b) Cybex eagle incline chest press

Supersets of:

c) Technogym leg press

d) Nautilus chest fly

e) Jumping squats

f) Technogym back row

Supersets of:

g) Nautilus lateral raise

h) Nautilus leg extension

i) Cybex low back row

Supersets of:

j) Precor bicep curl

k) Cybex eagle abdominal crunch

My soles are still a bit achy from yesterday’s 7km s-l-o-w run in the Bikilas. It has been 2 months since my initiation to minimalist footwear running and the aches and soreness does not seem to have ebb. This is must be the most progressive running shoe training ever! Notwithstanding the aches and soreness (and the numerous whines!), I loathe to return to running in my running shoes but it has to be done, at least until I am totally comfortable and at ease running in the Bikilas. Therefore, for the moment, it will have to be a mixture. Which reminds me, I should rekindle my acquaintance with the Adidas Tempo tomorrow morning. Well, I have to do it at some point!
