I am paying the price of the 9.2km run in the Bikilas now – and again, it is a different muscle group from previous runs. At least this time, I did not collapse in the car or was paralyzed upon getting home. I thought I had it nailed when “only” the soles were aching after dinner but no, my body had other ideas! I woke up the following day with extremely achy hips. This is new! Previous encounters include shins, calves, glutes, quads and hamstrings. Oh well, another four more 9.2km before adaptation become norm.
