Virgin run with Bikila and Drop Set Monday

I had my virgin run with the Bikila on Saturday and despite the short distance (4.62km), I ended up with shin splints for the rest of the weekends. Looks like my Saturdays will be dedicated to training in them until the legs are used to them. One positive thing that came out was zero ache/tightness/pain on the knees even though the pace was slower.

Monday’s workout was “extreme” strength training on drop sets:

a) LF double handle lat pull down

b) Technogym double handle rear delt row

c) Technogym leg press

d) Technogym cable chest fly

e) Technogym leg extension

f) Hoist tricep dips

g) Reverse abs crunches
