Two weekends since the pectoral muscle strain

It is coming to two weekends since my muscle strain. I was more or less gritting my teeth last week with the pain and only took the painkiller just before the North East Run 2010 on Sunday. It has not been too difficult getting things done this week e.g. reaching for items, lifting my arms overhead, opening and closing doors but we’re still taking things easy at the gym. The pain has been replaced with a minor irritation akin to soreness; I am thinking it will probably take another week before the muscle reverts to “normal”.

Today was another day for a weights session and we started with the chest.

Supersets of:
a) DB chest press
b) Smith machine incline chest press

Supersets of:
c) Cable back press down
d) Low row

Supersets of:
e) Lat pull down
f) Combo of BB shoulder overhead press and squats
g) BB forward lunge onto bench
h) Jumping squats

Supersets of:
i) BB abs crunches
j) Leg raises
k) Tricep press down
