Another Functional Training (previously mistaken as Core Workout!)

It was another day of functional training this morning. After yesterday’s workout, I was so glad for a toned down session since I woke up with cramps on my calves and soreness on ALL major muscle groups. We didn’t use the Busa or stability ball as much today – not too sure if I should rejoice at this either!

Supersets of:
a) Technogym cable chest fly balanced on stability ball
b) The dreaded chin ups on True Stretch
c) Combo of DB rows and DB frontal raise

Supersets of:
d) Single arm DB row
e) Combo of static lunge and single DB overhead shoulder press
f) Combo of BW squats and single arm DB lateral raise

Supersets of:
g) DB french press
h) Standing DB concentration curl

Supersets of:
i) Push ups on the Busa
j) Abs crunches balanced on the stability ball
k) Plank balanced on stability ball and toes on the Busa

It was an interesting session as Michael and I got talking (well, beyond workouts) and it ranged from Facebook games to Chinese New Year. Guess we are finally warming up to each other.
