Everyone in the group was nursing some sort of injury or down with flu except for Lai and Rujhan. Let’s have a round down of the excuses for running at 6 min/km:
a) Ronnie: stomach flu
b) Kenny: the regular flu
c) Fauzan: toothache (though that did not stop him from speeding off like being chased by a pack of wolves!)
d) Adam: brought the wrong shoe (ok, this is not illness but hey the header is “excuses”)
e) Myself: shin splints from Sunday’s City Day Run

Kei Ming did his own hill interval training at the Deer Park whereas Eileen was spotted chit chatting near the staircase area.
The heat and humidity was an absolute killer and every step felt ever so heavy and agonizing. I was sweating profusely by ¾ of the first lap, so by the fourth…yup, you guessed it. I am hoping Adam’s prediction of “more of the same darn thing” will not happen during the bunny run.
Yesterday was about completing the distance rather than achieving timing goals.
