The three runs since the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) has been at the 5:40 min/km range. While last week’s timings were “excusable” since they were recovery runs but clocking this speed for this morning’s two loops around Lake Garden is a tad frustrating. This is in part due to the lack of motivation after the SCSM, the lack of shuteye since coming back from Singapore and an extremely achy body after the weekend’s activities (more about this later).
I have been telling myself to incorporate interval trainings into my weekly runs but I have been too lazy and perpetually coming up with excuses not to do it! Maybe I should request for a speedwork training during Wednesday’s adiNation Training Run session.
