It’s legs and shoulders day today. Leg workouts are my least favourite but I guess there’s not much of a choice if I want a toned and balanced and proportionate body. Today’s workout was a superset between legs and shoulders:
4 sets of
BB squats (35 lbs, 45 lbs, 55 lbs, 55 lbs)
DB shoulder press + squat combo (15 kg)
4 sets of
Recline leg press (100 lbs, 145 lbs, 190 lbs, 190 lbs with drop set to 145 lbs)
DB lateral raise (15 lbs, 15 lbs, 15 lbs, 15 lbs with drop set to 5 lbs)
3 sets of
DB walking lunge (30 lbs, 30 lbs, 30 lbs)
BB behind neck shoulder press (25 lbs, 25 lbs, 25 lbs)
BB upright row (25 lbs, 25 lbs, 25 lbs)
3 sets of
Seated hamstring
BB front raise (5 lbs, 5 lbs, 5 lbs)
4 sets of
Quads
Calf raise + Shrugs combo (6, 6, 6, 6)
Surprisingly the foot held up ok. Guess yesterday’s reflexology session helped – will try to keep to the weekly reflexology session fastidiously. Proviso being I could afford it.
Wednesday’s training should focus on the chest and back.
