Indoor Workouts

Looks like everyone has been relegating their workouts indoors – gym looks particularly “crowded” these past few days. This year must have been the worst of the lot – don’t remember any of these plaques in the previous years: splitting headaches, dry {and touch wood, oncoming sore} throat, thirst 24/7.

Life goes on and we manage what we can although we can’t say the same about our “neighbours” – it’s an annual affair and all talk, promises etc dies down when things improve only to be resuscitated the following year.

Let’s just get down to the business of the day. Oh, standing, sitting, lying down has been a challenge thanks to the “self serviceabs roll out yesterday!

Single sets and {double or triple} dropsets of:
a) Freemotion seated overhead shoulder press (looks like we’re on a roll with the flexibility and instability mode here)
b) DB lateral raise (dropsets on every friggin set!)
c) BB combo of upright row and overhead shoulder press
d) Technogym cable criss cross rear delt (the weight plate was northbound this morning! And having to do a third dropset is no bueno…at least for the shoulders and rear delts!)

Supersets of:
e) Technogym cable upright row (thinking we were gonna move on to some abs…I thought wrong)
f) DB upright row

Single set of:
g) Angled leg raises (gave up or rather phail-ed on the third…see above on roll out)
