Back to the Grind – Part 2

Part 1 of my whine-fest here

Even the java couldn’t jolt me this morning, ok, maybe a teeny meeny marginally. It was an early start, something like up at 4+, put in a short run at 5 and then heading to meet Michael for a Back & Lats session at 6.

Pretty normal stuff.

Now, given the above and the never-ending list below (we may possibly have set a record for the number of workouts!), my work strength today is likely to be in the region of 5%.

Supersets of:
a) Free-standing pull-ups (naturally!)
b) LF cable lat pull-down

Supersets of:
c) LF cable low row (ouch! My mid back!)
d) DB bendover row

Supersets of:
e) Hammer Strength MTS row
f) Hammer Strength MTS high row (yup, new-to-me equipments. Double yup, they were tough)

Supersets of:
g) LF cable reverse pull-down (wide grip…to make it tougher. It did make sense at 6am)
h) Plate weight back extension

Supersets of:
i) Tricep extension (rope)
j) Leg raises

Way too much before 7am on a weekday. Working weekday. Since we were in the mode, throw in a 30 min session on the elliptical cross trainer after that. Before I forget,

Thursday’s Mantra: 3Rs - Rest, Re-hydrate, Re-fuel.
