Upper Body Strength Training – theme for the weekend

I was gonna post pics of Friday’s dinner until I realized that I’ve deleted them after transferring them to FB. Oh well, maybe tonight. You’re welcome to scroll through this post or even ignore it and check back tomorrow for the pics. Right, you’ve been pre-warned about the boring-ness of this.

Spent the weekend chilling out at home minus the hiatus to the gym and Richard’s place. Back & Lats on Sunday and Chest & Pecs this morning.

Single sets of:
a) Free-standing pull-ups (hmmm…not too bad…for the first 3 sets)
b) BB deadlifts (ok, now it gets ugly)
c) LF cable close grip lat pull-down (and it gets uglier)
d) Technogym cable dual handle reverse pull (what’s the next adjective for “uglier”?)
e) Technogym cable back press down or aptly termed as reverse pull (beats me too!)
f) KB single arm row (we switched to singles since moi couldn’t do the double…even with the same KB; only happens to moi)
g) Double weighted leg raises (squeezing 2 med balls between you-know-what; crap! This sounds so wrong!)

This morning’s killer and fatigue inducing workout. Kid. You. Not. I was drained when we came to the last press.

Supersets of:
a) BB bench chest press (somewhat feeble attempt to balance and hold the bar up – fantastic motivation I tell ya, well unless you’re looking for reconstructive mysofacial surgery and it's now obvious that I've a spelling problem as well)
b) DB chest press

Supersets of:
c) Smith machine incline chest press
d) DB incline chest press

Supersets of:
e) Technogym cable chest fly
f) Push-ups

Supersets of:
g) Cybex Eagle chest press (can I say fatigue even before the FIRST rep?!?!?!)
h) Precor AbCrunch

Oh, let’s just throw in a picture in the post. Totally unrelated. Totally lame. Totally unimaginative. Blogger of the year award. Last night’s homemade dinner.
