Last week’s post. We were back to the same thing this morning…and since it’s 1 week, 7 days, 168 hours, 10,080 minutes and 604,800 seconds later, all soreness, aches, weakness, healing should have been gone. Technically. Logically. Physically.
Mentally – nopez. I’m still fearful.
Supersets of:
a) Smith machine squats (apparently the incremental are 25lbs…on each side; someone forgot to send me the memo and I went into a cardiac immediately!)
b) Cybex weight plate loaded leg squat press (and apparently we should start with the last session’s highest load; evidently I need a more efficient PA to manage memos!)
Supersets of:
c) KB walking lunges (steadier than last week)
d) DB static raised lunges (OMG, the quads and glutes…OMG! More OMG – I asked to do this coz the walking lunges didn’t cut it.)
Supersets of:
e) Technogym leg extension (F**k-ed myself by “so lovingly” asking Michael to up the load on the last set)
f) Cybex prone leg curl (started with new-to-me weight load)
Single sets of:
g) Technogym leg press (yes, double lunges and double leg presses; like I said, back to the groove of things)
h) Cybex Eagle Abdominal
It didn’t even take 1 hour, 60 minutes, 360 seconds before DOMS hit. Anyone wanna join me next week?

oh man, that sounds hard core. i'm a runner and do weights, but nothing too heavy or intense, i'm preeetty sure you'd wipe the gym floor with me. ;)
It's a tough workout but fantastic and helps with powering up hills and slopes.
