Distance: 2 * 4km + 2km = 10km (Garmin: 9.7km)
Timing: 54:41 for 5:38 min/km pace
Also known as the foot recovery phase run. Slow going but I got it done. It got ugly in the last 2km when the back of the heels started to get irritated with the Sprint – it felt like the back of the Sprint was “biting” into the back of the heels. It’s definitely a long road to recovery.
Oh yeah, the DOMS on the lats are still alive and kicking!
Anyway, here’s what my parents brought back from Hong Kong – mooncakes from Kee Wah Bakery.
