Workout this morning:
a) Sun salutations A and B
b) 25 minutes warm up on the Precor elliptical
c) Weight training – legs-and-shoulders combo this morning:
Supersets of:
a) Smith machine squats (the second set was a killer on my neck…I found out later that the foam padding had worn out and it was basically the iron bar on my neck! Quick adjustment and we’re back in business for the third.)
b) Seated DB overhead shoulder press
Supersets of:
c) Cybex plate loaded squat press
d) BB frontal raise
Supersets of:
e) Single leg static lunges with DB that weighs 30lbs! (my quads and glutes were killing me by rep 10…and I had another 10 to go!)
f) DB lateral raise
Supersets of:
g) Technogym cable overhead criss cross pull down
h) Kettle bell walking lunges (this is what I meant in the title header!)
i) Jumping squats (urrrgh!)
Single sets of:
j) Reverse abs crunch
