Back to regular programming

The past month has been slightly out of funk with the Chinese New Year holidays, travels to Miri and then Hong Kong and the last weekend, Singapore. March should be a quieter month (read: I will be home based) and we should be back to our regular programming.

A few quick updates (the longer posts a.k.a. review, race reports etc will follow when I get the chance over the weekend):

1. Took it easy during the NTUC Healthcare U Run 2011 and finished in 52:01 minutes – not too shabby, eh? Considering I was not racing but the heat and humidity were the killers. In any case, I am using this race for Jeff'sVirtual 5K.

2. Finally got my Terra Plana flip-flops! It’s bright yellow and they even had a 15% discount. All in, SGD35.

3. Finally and finally, on the absolute last day, used up the New Balance voucher from the Klang New Year Run 2011 to get a pair of trail shoes. I forked out RM99 for this baby.

This morning’s back-and-chest routine:

Supersets of:

a) Freemotion cable standing lat pull down

b) Freemotion cable seated chest press

Supersets of:

c) Nautilus low back row

d) Nautilus eagle incline chest press

Supersets of:

e) Technogym cable bend over back row with iron bar

f) Technogym cable L-shaped chest press

Supersets of:

g) TRX combo of planks, atomic knee up and push-ups

h) Technogym cable pressdown for back

We finished up around 7:45 am with a tricep pressdown on the Hoist machine.
