New Year's Eve and Welcome 2009!

Had dinner with SW and HTN at their place – which has been pretty much the ritual for the past couple of years. Saves us a lot of money and not forgetting the crowds and traffic (getting to and fro any place on a New Year eve!). This year, it was just the three of us and it was a quiet affair (last year, KM and SF were around). We had baked potatoes and mine was filled with mushroom and leek while SW and HTN had chicken with onion fillings. Dessert was the orgasmic Christmas pudding they brought back from Amsterdam with custard. Boy, do I love it! Somehow they are oceans better than the ones we get here.

Read a book (Jill Mansell’s “Falling for You”) before hopping into bed and then waking up to catch the fireworks.
