Legs-and-Shoulders Day

March has been a quiet month, travelling wise and I have been able to keep to the regular programming i.e. weight training with Michael on Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays. Michael has been making changes to the programme – nothing drastic; they are still killer workouts but we have been working on split body parts for the past few months instead of the total body workouts when I first started with him. There is still the once a week functional or cable training which we are now slotting the TRX into. Diane is probably the best person to know how much my body and muscular skeletal frame has changed since I started with Michael. Yup, he’s definitely the best so far (and a keeper!). LOL! I thought this morning’s combo was shoulder heavy and kinda miss the leg curl – I really did thought we were going to do it together with the overhead shoulder press. Here is a roundup of this morning’s session:

Single set of:

a) Technogym leg press (heck! Michael is taking 100lbs as warm up these days and so we ended up with 4 sets with the last one at 160lbs)

Supersets of:

b) Technogym leg extension

c) Combo of DB single arm overhead shoulder press and walking lunges

Supersets of:

d) Nautilus overhead shoulder press (60lbs???!!! Michael was not kidding!)

e) DB lateral raise

Supersets of:

f) Technogym cable standing reverse rear delt

g) DB upright row

Supersets of:

h) Reverse abs crunches

i) DB bicep curl
