My initial intention was to do two or three loops as the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon was on Sunday and I figured I should conserve as much energy as I could. In the end, I ran the de-rigueur four loops, as I did not want to let Kei Ming (who was pacing me) down. We finished in 49:57 minutes, just 1 second away from my record. The pace and splits were pretty even; the average was around 5:30 min/km.
